Three and a half hours walking the medieval spine of Cairo from Bab al-Futuh down to Khan el-Khalili, once the lights come on and the tour buses have gone. We stop at the Qalawun complex, a copper workshop that is still working, and a sabil nobody photographs. Finishes with mint tea at El Fishawy. Monument tickets are not included, and I will tell you which are worth it.
